IT seems a wee lark but for just $50, canny bride-to-be Marly Woods can now officially go by the Scottish title of "Her Ladyship''.
The 22-year-old swimming teacher and her fiancee Michael Bryon have capitalised on a Scottish conservation project that has allowed them to buy their own patch of land in Scottish Highlands and with it, legal titles of Lady and Laird -- meaning lord and landowner.
The Worongary couple may only own a minuscule 30cm square patch of wild heather but under Scottish law, they can now legally use the titles and even have their passports and drivers licences changed to reflect their new 'status'.
